Inadequate 2004 Funding Could Derail Amtrak

Monday July 28, 2003
Amtrak President David Gunn is smoking over the House Appropriations Committee's approval of $900 million for the national railroad's 2004 operations. In testimony before Congress, Gunn accuses lawmakers of "playing Russian roulette" with the nation's passenger rail service. Also see: Amtrak Announces Half Price Fares for Students
