House Votes to Repeal D.C. Gun Control Laws

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill that would repeal virtually all gun control laws in the District of Columbia. Should the District of Columbia Personal Protection Act pass in the Senate and become law, it would repeal registration requirements for firearms and ammunition, remove criminal penalties for possessing unregistered weapons and allow D.C. residents to have loaded firearms at home.
