All About the President's Cabinet

There have been hints that some notable members of President Bush's first-term Cabinet may not be returning for the next four years. For example, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice may be tagged by Bush to replace Donald Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense. Rice would become the first woman Defense Secretary in U.S. history. Other term-one Cabinet members who may not return include Attorney General John Ashcroft, Secretary of State Colin Powell and Secretary of Homeland Security Tom Ridge.
