DoD Creating Draft-fodder Database

Even if there won’t be an Iraq war-driven draft, the DoD has hired a private marketing firm to build a database of information on U.S. college and high school students. U.S. Politics Guide Kathy Gill has details here, and reports that privacy advocates are more than a little concerned about this move. Needless to say, the move will fan the fears of a reinstatement of the draft.
