Gun Maker Protection Bill Gains Support in Senate

The U.S. Senate now appears likely to pass a bill that would effectively shield gun and ammunition makers from lawsuits when their products are used in the commission of crimes.

The LA Times is reporting that, in a test vote taken on Tuesday, 12 Democratic senators, including Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada.), joined the Republican majority in a 66-32 vote in favor of passage of the bill. Read the entire LA Times story…
