U.S. Ports Under Arab Control? A Controversy Blooms

News that the Bush Administration supports a $6.8 billion deal that would allow a United Arab Emirates (UAE) company to manage major U.S. seaports has touched of a major political firestorm. The deal has both Democrats and Republicans demanding to know how the sale of UK-based Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P & O), to Dubai-headquartered DP World could not end up compromising national security at the ports involved.

We obviously have the best government that money can buy! And they are quite willing to sell our U.S.A. for their own personal profit. I call on our Senators and Congress to DEMAND that our own people run our own ports! Do not allow any outsider to have such control! I vote for a President who has American interests at heart. Obviously this one does not!
