FDA Wants Consumers to Truly Get the 'Whole Grain'

Everywhere you look on your supermarket shelves, you see labels touting “Whole Grain Goodness.” Sure, foods made from or with whole grain products are nutritious, but really, what does “whole grain” mean, and are all those product claims legitimate?

To help consumers make knowledgeable dietary choices, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued new guidelines to food manufacturers on exactly what products labeled "whole grain" may and may not include. [Learn more…]
