Bush Gives Rumsfeld His Full Support

Sunday April 16, 2006
President Bush has expressed his unqualified support for his Sec. of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. "Earlier today I spoke with Don Rumsfeld about ongoing military operations in the Global War on Terror," said the president in an April 14 press release. "I reiterated my strong support for his leadership during this historic and challenging time for our Nation."

Rumsfeld came under harsh criticism last week for his handling of the Iraq war, with several retired generals calling for him to step down. Defending Rumsfeld against his critics, President Bush stated, "Secretary Rumsfeld's energetic and steady leadership is exactly what is needed at this critical period."

Rumsfeld's spirits were probably further boosted by the fact that at no time did his boss say, "You're doing a great job here, Rummy."

If you haven’t noticed, this leadership have turned into a MONARCHY we as the consumers and the folks that pay the salaries have no say so at all in the happenings of this country. Hold your hats and skirts, Queen Elizabeth may as well be over here. Why in the heck have we all been hearing THE WORD, “VETO” VETO VETO, VETO MEANS WE HAVE NO VOICE, VETO MEANS THAT THE GOVERNMENT THINKS THE COUNTRY IS STUPID AS IF WE WERE ALL TEENAGERS AND NO MIND OR THOUGHTS. YOU DON’T THINK THIS IS SCARY?
