It's Biden for Obama

Saturday August 23, 2008
At last white smoke bubbles from the stovepipe and the Earth can again be at peace. Barack Obama has chosen a vice presidential running mate -- veteran U.S. Senator Joseph Biden of Delaware. Not since the moon landing, the O.J. verdict, or 9/11 has so much media attention been focused on a single event. And, oh by the way, John McCain hasn't chosen his running mate yet. Just to keep it real, if you think the vice president serves as little more than the answer to an often-missed question on civics tests, remember they can become president in a heartbeat.
