Most Telemarketing Robocalls Outlawed

Starting tomorrow, September 1, 2009, it will be illegal for telemarketers to place most automated “robocalls” to consumers without written permission. The new rule, however, does not prohibit all robocalls, like those from campaign contribution-seeking politicians. [Get the details...]
