USDA Dealing with Discrimination

Since April 1999, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has been working - and paying - to settle the largest discrimination lawsuit ever filed against a government agency. So far, Congress has authorized over $1 billion in payments to over 16,000 minority and women farmers.
