Proposed Bills Called "Assault on the Endangered Species Act"

The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) contends that twin bills currently before Congressional committees attempts to hunt down the Endangered Species Act by making the designation and protection of critical habitat -- homes to endangered species -- optional rather than mandatory.
