At Issue: Nationalized Health Insurance

Over 43 million Americans face the daily threat of having no health insurance coverage. Wouldn't it be great if the U.S., like Canada, had a nationalized health insurance plan, with doctors, hospitals and the health care delivery system itself under the control of the government? Would it be great, or would it actually hurt the economy, the health care system and, most of all, the patients? Take a quick look at the pros and cons of nationalized health insurance.
