White House Issues Final Report on Katrina Response

The Bush Administration yesterday released its complete report on the federal government's response to the disaster in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Highlights of the report, The Federal Response to Hurricane Katrina: Lessons Learned, include a primer on national preparedness, lessons learned from Katrina and most importantly, a list of 125 recommendations in 17 general categories where the Federal government's capability to respond to catastrophic events can be improved.
