VA Releases 2008 Veterans Benefits Booklet

Thursday April 24, 2008
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) now offers handy online access to the 2008 edition of the booklet "Federal Benefits for Veterans and Dependents."

The free booklet describes benefits provided by VA along with resources to help veterans access those benefits. It also includes information on programs and services for veterans provided by other federal agencies.

The entire "Federal Benefits for Veterans and Dependents" can be downloaded (.pdf), or viewed online as series of web pages.

Veterans of the United States armed forces may be eligible for a broad range of programs and services provided by the federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Eligibility for most VA benefits is based upon discharge from active military service under other than dishonorable conditions. The booklet "Federal Benefits for Veterans and Dependents" contains complete details on conditions of eligibility.
