Way to Go, Leo!

Congratulations to Leo, a six year employee of the U.S. Customs Service stationed in Hidalgo, Texas. Leo is now being honored by Customs for his invaluable role in the seizure of 1400 pounds of marijuana submerged in yellow mustard and 795 pounds of marijuana hidden in the tires of truck. Leo attributes his uncanny ability to find such well hidden contraband to his advanced sense of smell which comes naturally to a 4 year old Golden Retriever.

Every month, the Custom Service web site honors one of its smuggler-busting dogs with this K9 of The Month Award. Good for them!
