Dept. Seeks 5 Suspected al Qaeda Members [Photos]
2:00 pm - The White House announced that the Geneva Convention would apply to Taliban detainees being held by the U.S. at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, but not to al Qaeda members. According to White House spokesman Ari Fleischer, the action would not extend prisoner of war status to any of the detainees, which would have allowed them to limit their answers to questions under interrogation.
