White House Says Has No Blueprint for Iraq Attack (Reuters) -- President Bush denied having a plan of military action to remove Iraqi President Saddam Hussein from power. White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said the Pentagon had "multiple contingency plans" for dealing with Iraq but President Bush had not approved any of those plans. 

Musharraf Says U.S. Helps Hunt Al Qaeda in Pakistan (Reuters) -- Pakistan's President Musharraf stated the U.S. forces were assisting the Pakistani military in hunting down al Qaeda and Taliban militants in his country.

Kazakhstan Promises Rumsfeld More Support in Afghan War (Reuters) -- Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev told U.S. Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld that the U.S. could expect more support from Kazakhstan in the war against terrorism.

NOT confirmed: Times: U.S. Plots Possible 2003 Air/Land Iraq Attack (Reuters) -- The New York Times reported that the U.S. is planning a major ground and air campaign into Iraq in 2003, designed to topple Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
