11:15 am - Speaking from his Texas ranch, President Bush confirmed that the U.S. did not know where Osama bin Laden was, but that he would be found. "He's on the run, if he's running at all. We don't know whether he's in a cave with the door shut, or a cave with the door open. We just don't know. There's all kinds of reports and all kinds of speculation," said President Bush. "He is not escaping us. This is a guy who three months ago was in control of a country. Now he's maybe in control of a cave." The Somali government has consistently denied the presence of terrorist cells in its country. Meanwhile, Pakistan's resolve to the war on terrorism was being tested by its own deepening crisis with India over the Kashmir province.
