Federal Benefit Program: Emergency Food Assistance

Description: The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a Federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income needy individuals and families, including elderly people, by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost.
Eligibility Criteria: In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must characterize your financial situation as low income or very low income.
