If you're a political junkie who's got a hankering for the first presidential debate of the 2012 White House contest, here's some good news.
You won't have to actually wait until 2012.
The first presidential debate will be held in the spring for 2011, a full year and a half before U.S. voters elect or re-elect their next president.
Here's a complete and updated list of presidential debates, compiled from various media reports:
Spring 2011 - The first presidential debate will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in California's Simi Valley. "All of the leading contenders" for the Republican nomination have been invited to the debate, being sponsored by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, NBC News and online political publication Politico.
May 5, 2011 - Fox News and the Republican Party of South Carolina to host a presidential debate among Republican candidates at the Peace Center in Greenville, S.C.
June 7, 2011 - Another presidential debate will be sponsored by the Manchester Union Leader, WMUR-TV and CNN in New Hampshire.
Aug. 11, 2011 - Fox News and the Republican Party of Iowa team up to host a presidential debate in Iowa.
Early September 2011 - CNN and the Tea Party express plan to hold a presidential debate for Republican candidates seeking the GOP nomination the week of Labor Day in 2011. The presidential debate will be held in Tampa, Fla.
October 2011 - Fox News and and the Republican Party of Florida team up to hold a presidential debate in Orlando, Fla.
Early 2012 - Fox News and the Republican Party of Iowa will host a second presidential debate before the Iowa caucus, which is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2012.
March 2012 - The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation will hold a second presidential debate on the eve of Super Tuesday, when a number of states hold their primaries and caucuses.
