‘American Taliban,’ Lindh Attacked by Fellow Prisoner

The Justice Department reports that a prisoner at the Federal Correctional Institute at Victorville, California has been charged with assaulting fellow prisoner John Walker Lindh – also known as the ‘American Taliban.’ The accused prisoner allegedly used his hands and fists to attack Lindh on March 3. Lindh, 22, is serving a 20-year prison sentence after pleading guilty last year to assisting the Taliban during the war in Afghanistan. Also See: 'American Taliban' Pleads Guilty
