NSA Has Database of All US Phone Calls: Report
Citing people whose names are a secret, the newspaper claims the National Security Agency, whose business is secrecy, has been secretly amassing “the phone call records of tens of millions of Americans,” with the contracted assistance of telecom giants AT&T, Verizon and BellSouth. The purpose of the mission is, of course, to fight terror. No secret there.
The newspaper’s sources claim the NSA and the three telephone companies began collecting the call data shortly after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, in an effort to identify calling patterns related to terrorist activity.
While the actual conversations are not being recorded, the phone numbers being collected could easily be traced to personal information about the callers, states the report.

Thanks to President Bush, bin Laden’s goal is coming true.
America as we knew it is changing. We are losing our privacy, our economy is worse, and our freedom to “move about the country” is gone.
Bush is giving the americans nothing but false security, while he is lining his pockets with the almighty green stuff. He can’t even stop the violence in his own country, but thinks he can stop it in other countries. Only God has the plan, and I pray it goes into effect soon for all our sakes.
The only thing that will stay the same, Osama, (in case you are seeing this), is that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer!
Thank you for letting me vent.

I wouldn’t blame just Bush. The Congress is every bit as culpable if it doesn’t do something to stop this.
You may want to update that info, the warrentless wiretapping has been found to predate 9/11 and the anti-terror efforts of the NSA afterwards.

Seems like the US is getting more like NAZI Germany every day.
Also I notice the Military is using “Just following orders whichdidn’t work at the Nurenburg Trails.”
Will be interesting where all this survillence, wire taps, etc lead to.
