Executive Branch Web Sites
Agencies of the Executive branch of U.S. Government report directly to the Office of the President of the United States. By far, most agencies are part of the Executive Branch.

Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch is composed of the House of Representatives, Senate, and Legislative Support Organizations. Here you will find sources of email addresses for your U.S. Senators and Representatives. In addition, the Library of Congress is under the Legislative Branch.

Judicial Branch
The United States Federal Court system, including the Supreme Court, rule on and interpret the laws of the United States.

Independent Agencies
These are typically appointed by the President or Congress and serve purposes requiring their independence from the traditional "branch" oversight system. The CIA and Postal Service are examples of independent agencies.

Quasi-Official Agencies
Agencies that are partially funded and overseen by the government, yet remain autonomous. So far, only the Smithsonian fits, do you know any others?
